Here are those ten tips:
1. Eat a well balanced diet!
2. Do some heavy cardio such as running months before a marathon.
3. Train for the marathon by having someone motivating you.
4. Have a pacer that will help push you.
5. If you have weight to lose, eat primarily vegetables and whole grains.
6. If you want to gain weight, eat primarily lean meats and whole grains.
7. Weeks before the marathon, do not carbo load especially the day of the marathon.
8. Exercise lightly so that you have energy left for the marathon.
9. The night before the marathon do something relaxing like listen to music, meditate; and make sure you have a good nights rest!
I hope that helps, and I hope that you succeed at your marathon! Until next time....

Exercise Tips
I know......
I know that you have been searching for that help, and motivation. It can be hard to stay fit, and stay within those motivational goals however this year may be your year. Try implementing these tips into your exercise routine.
Here are some helpful tips to help keep yourself
motivated towards receiving a good workout, and help you to make wise decisions
to help with your exercise routine according to the Web site www.dailytouch.com.
1.
A
gym membership will not make you fit
The reason behind this is due to the fact that 60%
of gym memberships are never used. The only way to save some money on this one
is if you actually use the gym membership, or have a friend hold you
accountable to going towards the gym.
Now if you’re on a tight budget this may not be the
best route to stay fit considering that you might be wasting money on something
that you will never use. It would be best, or cheaper, just to go run, and eating
a healthier diet when staying fit.
2.
Music
improves your workout
Did you know that studies have shown that you can
improve your workout performance by more than 15% if you listen to music? It is
very true, when a person does continued work while listening to music it can
help zone a person out. This may be due to the reason to the fact that we can
get carried away to bouncing around to our favorite tunes!
3.
Time
of day is important
Have you ever felt that doing certain things in the
day that you feel more motivated to complete it? Likewise, it applies to
exercise as well. For those that have a hard time committing towards a
schedule, experts state that the best time to exercise for those unmotivated is
the morning. Exercising in the morning helps prevent the excuses that there isn’t
enough time left in the day. However, it has been suggested that doing early
morning workouts can actually inhibit your body’s immune system making it more
likely that you might suffer from bacterial or viral infections.
4.
A
person’s job may affect how much exercise you do
The type of job you do naturally affects how much
exercise you do each day. It may be a surprise that people who are more
physically active such as waiters and waitresses walk four miles a day on
average while police officers only walk two miles on average.
Furthermore, the type of job you do should dictate
how much exercise you need to do around it. If you’re job is a desk job, it
would be best to counteract that amount of time spent at the desk
proportionately conducive to helping you achieve maximum physical results. For
example, it would be best that you receive at least an hour of exercise for the
amount of time spent doing a desk job. Also, it might be worth thinking of ways
that you can get more exercise even while at work this may include taking the
stairs instead of taking the elevator.
5.
Facebook,
the long road to fitness
I’m sure you
had to reread that twice to let that sink in but Facebook can help towards your
fitness goals. The reason is when we see our friends being active it can guilt
trip us into doing exercise. Furthermore, seeing an unattractive photo of an overweight
person can persuade us to start doing exercise.
6.
Exercise
can make you live longer
It is very true that doing just 15 minutes of
exercise every day immediately gives you a 14% lower mortality rate than if you
weren’t doing any exercise at all! Of course, every extra 15 minutes of
exercise you do increases this statistic.
Furthermore, exercise helps increase our energy
while lowering our blood pressure; and our cholesterol. As endorphins are
released while doing exercise, it can result in us feeling younger and looking
younger as well.
7.
Build
those muscles
It is helpful for individuals to round out their
exercise routine, especially when doing strength training. It is good to have
cardiovascular exercise because it strengthens the heart muscles; and lowers
the blood pressure, but did you know that strengthening the body’s muscles a
bit more can reduce the risk of certain health implications, such as joint pain?
Hence, it would be best to build up the weights and resistance to help build
stronger muscles.
8.
Stretch
those muscles
Now there are many divided opinions when to stretch,
but the best suggestion given about stretching is to stretch before exercise
and after exercise. A muscle is a fiber tissue that tightens as it extends and
contracts. As the muscles are placed under strain when doing exercise, the
fibers tighten causing that soreness-feeling when under stress; and due to
lactic acid build-up. It would be best to stretch both before exercise, to help
prepare your muscles for intense exercise, and after exercise, to help release
any lactic acid build-up. Furthermore, it is obvious that stretching also
prevents injuries.

Two blogs
A note......
For my reader's I just wanted to make a quick note that I have made another blog post called healthandmoringa.wordpress.com. This blog will talk mainly about the benefits and history of the moringa plant. Furthermore, it will compare many products out there with the moringa plant.
However, this blog is in the works!
This blog that you're reading is mainly anything about health. But, I want to remind my readers that both blogs are still both your blogs. Please provide value to the content already provided, because together we can create a healthier world.
I did say to my readers that this blog is being monetized, but unfortunately it is currently not being monetized because my affiliates aren't available. Until then, I wish you "to your health." Cheers!

The secret to losing weight!
Alright, do you see this picture:
That is a massive belly bulge. Now, seeing that it is the new year the number one aspect of most resolutions is to lose weight. But, more than half of all those resolutions fall through. And, guess what? It is NOT there fault.
Surprised?
I am shocked too. Forget the pep talks, and the motivational tips. I get it, and I understand that you didn't mean for your belly to look this huge! There are many fad diets out there that will say that they are the solution; however, you have tried everything and the bulge still will not go away.
Well, let me tell you it has nothing to do with motivation or diet "secrets" that will help you lose the bulge. It has more to do accountability.
Do read that word carefully? I did say accountability!
Here's why accountability is important in losing weight.
1. Some one can hold you guilty for sneaking that cookie.
2. Some one can help motivate you to do those work outs.
3. Some one can help teach you to exercise properly if you're the exercising type.
4. Some one can help you with proper nutrition.
There are many other reasons why accountability is also important, but most importantly it keeps that "voice of reason" present. Find someone that you trust, or a personal trainer that will hold you accountable. And, I can promise you that you will keep your goals this year.

Your health, your blog
HEY!........
Do I have your attention? I hope that you liked the cartoon above, and it will help illustrate the point that I am trying to make regarding this blog. First off, I realize that this is a health blog but I want my readers to know that this is their blog as well. A blog that will help each other and support each other in our health goals. There is a saying that there is strength in numbers, and I truly that through our numbers we can help each other in this community. This is what you can do with this blog:
- You can post videos, and answer questions from people in this community.
- You can ask me, the writer of this blog, questions that you may have about health issues in today's society; and I will do my best to answer them. If I can't the community can help each other answer the question. I will answer on a weekly basis!
- Find mentors, and find an uplifting atmosphere where you can help each other.
Why do I want this to be your community?.....simple!
In addition, I will post three types of blogs here on this post that I will write - separate from your community intereactions.
- I will post articles news articles, and have critical thought analysis of them. Expand upon the article, and hopefully we can learn from the information in the article!
- The history of health! This is where I explore the changes in how health and wellness has evolved over these years including dietician advice, medical history and medical advances in the human advancement of the human body! I'm sure you can get interactive here by watching videos, now who doesn't like that?
- And, I will be posting any health stories that I hope to inspire! I truly believe that one of the best things that a person can receive a good story, a story that can uplift the soul!
